  • Event procurement proposal still in process
  • Kailah & Mel have retired from PDF signage (first need for this idea)
  • But, they are willing to help draft process for event "branding"
  • Needs a champion
  • Not high priority at the moment
  • Generative AI proposal
  • Growing interest from the community at least in terms of art grants
  • Thoughts on a FPCS position paper that informs art grant committee rules?
  • Action item: New Slack channel for conversation to take place.
  • Ross wants to be champion.
  • Process for document creation/public comment is well defined.
  • Proposal for event harm reduction from Plum & Spicy Toast (table until July)
  • How FPCS could provide test info & materials for harm reduction purposes

  • Camps/participants/individuals can do what they will. As an organization we have been more cautious about what we sanction/post publicly due to the RAVE act

  • Tabled in May - Earlier electronic voting tallied all in favor, except for one dissenting vote to adopt. Could pass as written (incorporating one change (submitted by Jayderaven),although prefer to work with Hatter to understand objection in hops of assuaging his concern then bringing to vote again.

Events

MALC

  • At it's June 9 semi-weekly meeting, the Planning team met. During the meeting, three key documents in draft form to the team for its review and comment.
  • Charter

Marketing Plan

Playa Del Fuego 2026

  • Waiver
  • Can we get an updated waiver sorted now to preload for next year?
  • Retrospective - probably not time tonight, but needed! (July deadline)

Constellation 2026

  • Invite producers into Zoom to discuss their emergency meeting
  • Volunteerism numbers have not been good. Producers feel that trying to run an event this year puts the longer term picture at risk. Desire to cancel for 2026.
  • Actual hard volunteer numbers were presented on the "all hands" call, they don't look as good as PDF numbers.
  • Trying to run the event this year cold be a rerun of the scramble we've had in past years.
  • Producers have a plan to rebuild the event for long term viability
  • Proposed team building event, FPCS would bear the expense.

  • Motion made was to cancel the public event, Constellation 2026.Motion passed unanimously.
  • Next steps: Back to Slack with producers to make a united front for this decision, coordination/communication/etc.
