If Missing Person cannot be located and there is cause for concern, BOD should be radioed immediately.
BOD shall decide whether or not to close the Gate operations until person is located.
Gate will close Gate operations and clear Gate Road if radioed to do so by BOD to make way for emergency vehicles.
Gate will radio BOD once Gate road has been cleared and secured.
The Gate Coordinator on duty will escort Law Enforcement to the site location where the incident is taking place. Gate Shift Lead will maintain the Gate closure.
Lost or separated persons should be accompanied to the Ranger HQ. Campmates and friends who have been separated from a Missing Person should be directed to Ranger Headquarters.
Lost participants may also approach any Ranger on patrol for help.
BOD will escalate to Local/State PD.
