Primary traffic into the event is controlled by the Gate Department during Gate Hours and closed by private security outside of Gate Hours.
Gate serves as a location for tickets, IDs and early arrival information to ensure a vehicle can move forward or determine that it must turn around and leave the event.
Greeters provides important information to participants on unloading and parking activities. They mark each vehicle with the arrival time to help monitor vehicles onsite.
Parking monitors vehicle flow from the event site after unloading and directs vehicles into permanent parking spaces for the duration of the event.
In the event of a traffic flow problem, Rangers can assist in locating the owners of vehicles that are unoccupied. Roads that have become impassable due to weather conditions or disabled vehicles shall be escalated to DPW for rerouting or signage.
The event will not call a tow truck for your disabled vehicle unless approved by a BOD member due to the event ending or vehicle blocking a major roadway. Event participants will be given a list of local tow companies who may be called. In all cases Gate shall be informed so that the tow truck may be escorted to the location of the disabled vehicle.
